What we store about you
Fudgle keeps your streak, your best streak, and your progress on the current puzzle in your own browser using local storage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser storage erases it permanently, including your streak.
We do not ask for an account, an email address, or a name to play.
Analytics
We collect aggregate usage statistics to understand which puzzles are too hard and which words get wrongly rejected. This is measured in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
Advertising
Fudgle is free and is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may serve ads on this site and may use cookies or similar technologies to do so.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
Children
Fudgle is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold no account data, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser storage. For anything else, contact us via the contact page.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and will revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site.
